A Cotswold wedding at the stunning Ellenborough Park Hotel in Cheltenham

Ellenborough Park is a gorgeous Cotswold stone manor house set within spectacular grounds at the top of Cleeve hill, over looking the Cheltenham Racecourse. Jody and Richard made a great choice for their wedding day, I’m always honoured to go back and shoot there!

With so much character inside this beautiful building, the staircase and the lounge – you must have a look (if not only for a cream tea- BEST EVER!). Fortunately for us the weather was lovely so we made the most of it outside and captured as much of the pretty surroundings as possible.

Heres a few for you, I think you’ll agree Jody looks absolutely beautiful in that dress from Grand Jour!!!!

Tiffany Veitch & Family- Leckhampton Hill Cheltenham- Family photography

An afternoon out with the Veitch family. We did get chased by cows and walked a few miles over Leckhampton hill but it was an extremely fun afternoon. Such a lovely family who were an absolute pleasure to photograph. The weather is so perfect over these next few months to go outside and capture some brill family photohgraphs. Obviously minus the rain we’ve had over the last week.

The best days for photography are bright overcast days, creating beautiful diffused light. Know one wants to be squinting the whole time. I’ll leave you with a couple of examples from the shoot.

Lucy & Sammi – Children’s photo shoot in the Montpellier gardens, Cheltenham

This photo shoot took place in the Montpellier gardens in Cheltenham, early this April. We met at the lovely cafe in the centre of the gardens to begin with and had a coffee as this was the week that became particularly chilly after those glorious weeks in March. Sammi had a hot chocolate which soon became coated round his cheeky face, the perfect way to get to know one another!!

I’d spoken to Lucy a fair few times before the shoot, It really felt like I was photographing a friend.

Sammi and Lucy are truly lovely around one another. We played lots of games involving sticks, running races and hide and seek, it was a heavy workout!

I always make sure I keep a fair distance when I’m shooting because I really aim to capture natural, fun and relaxed shots and none of this cheesy old fashioned, posed photography. We all went on an adventure for the morning, which basically means I get to be a kid for a couple of hours with no one questioning it!!

Can I just also mention that I absolutely LOVE Lucy’s style, the pink coat worked so well with Mr Sammi looking super cool 😉

Kate & Mason – 1st Birthday

I thought I’d share with you the steps taken from november 2010 right up until january of this year 2012. Its so lovely to be involved in watching people and especially new born babies change and grow. From mum and bump, new born to Mason’s first birthday! How time flies through your first steps of parent hood.

Kate was absolutely stunning when pregnant although she thought otherwise, I beg to differ and I hope you agree. These images also looked pretty in colour but I fancied a little bit of monochrome on the blog.

Nadja & Simons Wedding -Sweet Briar Farm, Hampshire

An August wedding in Hampshire and an absolutely gorgeous day. Nadja, Simon and close family and friends came down from Croydon, London. The boys were extremely excited about the 5 star golf course that was convieniently next door, I’m sure that wasn’t a coinsidence 😉

The majority of there family joined them from all over the world making it an extremely special occasion.

It was indeed a colourful day, with wind mills, Lanterns and hearts on ribbons filling the trees and candles lighting the walk ways. Nadja had clearly worked her magic in making sure everything was perfect.

With Simon coming originally from Birmingham, UK and Nadja from Mauritius they wanted to honour their 2 very different backgrounds by having 2 ceremonies in one day. Yes this was a completely crazy idea but it absolutely worked! and yes Nadja got to wear 2 different outfits, AMAZING!… 🙂

Jen and Matt (Sudeley Castle Wedding)

A HUGE congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Henderson!A brilliant day had by all I should imagine!! I had so much fun photographing Matt and Jens wedding at the stunning Sudeley Castle in Cheltenham. We had a complete mixture of weather which was actually brilliant because the white umbrellas came out too. We were completely spoilt for choice in terms of where to take photographs as the whole venue and its surrounding acres are simply breath taking. Heres just a tiny snippet of there day. Baby Mason @4weeks old

What a little cutie!!!

It may have taken a couple of t-shirt changes for adam with the usual baby mess but we definitely captured how absolutely adorable he is!

I can’t wait to do the next session after 6 months when he’s crawling. We’ll have to chase him round the studio.

Meanwhile have a fantastic christmas and happy new year with your little family!!
