Back to some of my favourite wedding venues in the beautiful Cotswolds along with welcoming new ones too! No matter where you get married they all have the same amount of love and fun to capture and seeing how everybody puts their wedding day together in their own way fills me with joy. Look how happy everybody is!

The emotions, the detail, the hugging, the LOVE, the tears, the joy, the laughter!!

Considering the struggle some of my incredible couples have been through in getting there it was an absolute blast to finally capture people enjoying other peoples company all over again.

Yesterday I had the privilege of photographing a micro-wedding at Lapstone Barn in Chipping Campden. I was supposed to have been to this venue a few times this year but with COVID my wedding couples have mostly postponed to next year. Not this one though!

I met Christina & Liam last year when they booked and again to do a pre-wedding photoshoot in September. They were supposed to get married back in March but with the pandemic they decided to postpone until yesterday (October 4th)

It was a bit of a wet day over in Chipping Campden but we still managed to grab some shots outside. Lapstone Barn surrounds a pretty court yard which is a great place to get some photos if its a little rainy. We also popped out after the meal when the sun decided to some out for a play. You can’t beat the low Autumnal light.

Nestled near the top of Cleeve hill and over looking so much of the Gloucestershire countryside (along with the Cheltenham racecourse) Ellenborough park is such a pretty place to get married.

It was a windy and rainy day this time so we grabbed some photos outside as and when we could but it certainly didn’t dampen any spirits. We live in the UK so for anyone worrying about rain on their wedding day all I recommend is just to completely embrace it, whether its August or December we never know when we might get it so always be prepared and just don’t worry about it.

Claire, Rob and all their guests had the best day and you can totally tell!

Sadie & Steve are both based in London, Sadie is originally from America but they wanted a true English countryside style for their wedding day so Sudeley Castle was the perfect choice. I’ve photographed many weddings here and they’ve all been so different in style.

Theres a chapel in the grounds where you can have a blessing or you can get married in the Banqueting hall. You can even have a smaller ceremony in the library.

Being based in Cheltenham and surrounded by beautiful countryside there are just so many great wedding venues just down the road. This was my 10th wedding season and every year just gets better and better. A gorgeous summers day in Shipston-on-Stour for Eve and Josh. I met these two at another wedding I photographed so it was great to already know a couple of their guests. If you’re planning on getting married in a church and then having the reception in a beautifully decorated marquee then this would be a great wedding to view.
