The stunning Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire
Having grown up in Cheltenham my grandparents would always take me (and my brother and sister) to Sudeley Castle and we loved it! So many amazing hiding places around the grounds, secret tunnels, an adventure play area- its a Childs dream! Its also a photographers dream with so many great places to shoot. Set in the gorgeous rolling countryside in the heart of Winchcombe, a small village just outside Cheltenham with the most beautiful views.
Perfect Sunny day in Gloucestershire
It was the brightest, warm and sunny July day. Ellen the Bride and Grace the Maid of Honour got ready at Ellen’s parents house in Leckhampton, Cheltenham. Charlie the groom is from Australia so we were extremely lucky to show his guests how amazing the weather can be (occasionally) here in the UK. He was busy enjoying breakfast and getting ready with his ushers, best men and all the Auzzy lads.
Relaxed and natural wedding photography
Ellen and Charlie wanted their wedding day captured as naturally as possible which is what i’m all about. The photos below give you a little insight to their amazing day, so much fun, love and laughter. The chapel for their blessing is on the grounds at Sudeley, right next to the rose garden where the guests soon enjoyed drinks and canapés. A quartet was playing on the grass where the Castle ruins are in full view. An incredible building with such amazing history (definitely worth a visit!). A huge congratulations to Ellen and Charlie, thanks for letting me capture your awesome day.
