The Greenway Hotel is a luxurious Elizabethan manor house located in Cheltenham. It has true English country charm with its Cotswold stone exterior set within many acres of land and backing onto the rolling Cotswold hills. Such an elegant wedding venue.

Kelly and Rob were based in London so we mainly spoke over the phone and via email but we did manage to have a good catch up in person a couple of weeks before the big day. In the mix of all the arrangements Rob got offered a job in New York so they moved there only a couple of months before the wedding. The English style 1950s wedding that Kelly planned so beautifully was nice for them to come back home to in the UK i’m sure!

Church ceremony in Gloucestershire

The ceremony was held at St Mary’s church in Prestbury, Gloucestershire, a couple of miles from The Greenway. Some of Robs school friends from Pates grammar school in Cheltenham had teamed up and arranged for a florist to put together a beautiful flower archway when entering the church, this looked absolutely beautiful and worked really well in the photos!

There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere on the day. All the guests were having a lovely time enjoying catching up with family and friends in the gardens with the beautiful views.  This carried on through to the gorgeous sunset we got in the evening! A perfect ending to a fab day. MASSIVE congratulations to Kelly & Rob!

Ellenborough Park is a gorgeous Cotswold stone manor house set within spectacular grounds at the top of Cleeve hill, over looking the Cheltenham Racecourse.  Jody and Richard made a great choice for their wedding day, I’m always honoured to go back and shoot there!

With so much character inside this beautiful building, the staircase and the lounge – you must have a look (if not only for a cream tea- BEST EVER!). Fortunately for us the weather was lovely so we made the most of it outside and captured as much of the pretty surroundings as possible.

Heres a few for you, I think you’ll agree Jody looks absolutely beautiful in that dress from Grand Jour!!!!

I arrived at Cripps ready to capture the guests arriving and the boys waiting for Lucy’s arrival. The ceremony was inside because it was actually far to hot to have it outside (when can we ever say this?). The Barn looked beautiful with little plants down the isle, gorgeous flower arrangements suspended from the tall barn ceiling and lights over each of the open fire places.

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to doing photos at Cripps so we made the most of the great weather and caught some beautiful moments of Lucy and Joe enjoying some quiet time together away from there busy day.

This wedding was truly incredible! Katie and Luke chose a venue they could put their own stamp on. Priors Tithe Barn in Brockworth, Cheltenham is a blank canvas leaving a lot to the imagination. What they did to the place was quite amazing. They built an entire bar area using beer barrels & large pieces of wood. Pumpkin events helped them get everything together professionally along with the help of their wonderful family and friends. They even brought in the sofas from their own lounge at home!

Mint green bridesmaid dresses

I think you have to look at the photos to understand more. Mint green bridesmaids dresses are definitely a favourite of mine! All the pastel colours worked so well against the shimmering table clothes =)

Eastington Park is a stunning place to hold a wedding. Its fairly hidden away but when you come down the long driveway and spot it in the distance you know why its a great choice to celebrate your wedding day here.

From a photography point of view (obviously!) you’re spoilt for choice!

The flowers were done by Maria at Sorori Design and I can’t recommend her highly enough! I see so many different flower arrangements but these really are absolutely gorgeous.

I photographed Alison and Darren last year for there engagement shoot and it was so lovely to get to know them a lot more. There wedding day was simply perfect. They’d put their heart and sole in to making everything look amazing.

Rachel and Danny had a registrar ceremony in Ledbury, Uk with the temperature being around a nice healthy british 18 degrees before flying out to celebrate in style, in the middle of the Dubai dessert at a gorgeous hotel called Bab Al Shams at temperatures nearer 40 degrees!!

Such a relaxed pair, I’ve known Rachel for a very long time and she looks soooo incredibly happy with her new lovely husband Danny. I wish them all the happiness in the world. I hope you enjoy browsing through this one =)

The thunder and lightening in the morning didn’t dampen the mood for the rest of the day – the sun decided to come and join us just as the ceremony in the chapel had come to an end. This gave us a great opportunity for photos and we definitely made the most of the gardens, ruins and landscapes surrounding Sudelely Castle.

Xinbo & Zeshi are such a lovely, bubbly couple and really wanted a true English wedding and that’s exactly what they had! I really hope their Chinese relatives enjoyed every moment.

I met up with Joanne and Ross a couple of months before there wedding to do an engagement shoot. We went to Bibury which is a lovely part of the world where we walked around taking in all the scenery, having a good old chat and getting them used to being in front of the camera. It was a really fun afternoon!

They both really wanted the ceremony at Winkworth to be outside in the Rose garden, I had everything crossed for good weather as I’m sure everyone else did. About 30 minutes before the ceremony was about to commence all the chairs were still inside as the sky was a little grey (ok ALOT grey)- Ross with the help of his boys quickly managed to grab all the chairs over to the rose garden as a clear patch of sky opened up for is. It was perfect!!

They had a surprise in store for thier guests as they pulled into Winkworth Farm in a tractor after the ceremony. With Ross in his tweed suit it all was very fitting indeed! The true country bumpkin wedding they both dreamed of.
