Warwickshire Barn wedding – Becky & Rich

Christmas wedding photography at the Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-avon

I was really lucky to have the pleasure of photographing Rebecca and Rich’s wedding at the very beautiful Holy Trinity Church in December last year at Christmas. It was my first time there and I was so overwhelmed at just how gorgeous this church is, such a fantastic place to take photos. It was a perfect bright and chilly winters day and I certainly felt Christmassy. I’d love to come back here in spring when the blossom is out too!

Relaxed day in Warwickshire

Becky got ready at her house in the centre of Warwickshire. Very close to the Warwickshire Castle (I say it every time i’m there but I really must go and visit!) and from the get go it was a totally relaxed, happy and stress free day for everyone. Becky and Rich really wanted to spend quality time with everyone they love, they didn’t want the photography to get in the way of enjoying the day. This is so important to me and my style of shooting is just that. I like to capture all the giggles, tears, nerves and happiness of the day as and when things happen naturally. Along with getting a couple of the important group photos too. I like to sense the mood of the day and use this to inspire my couple shots which I always have ideas for posing but I find the more relaxed we leave it the better the outcome. I really love the photograph of Becky with her father and bridesmaids all laughing before they head in to the ceremony.

The reception at Baraset Barns in Stratford- Upon- Avon

Becky and Rich chose there favourite Lovely Pub to hold the reception to there wedding day. Its a warm and cosy barn just outside the town centre. A perfect hide away from all the tourists looking for Shakespeare’s house with enough space for all your guests to have a delicious feast and get there dance on into the night. Bundles of twinkly lights and log burning fires just set the scene beautifully for this Christmassy party!
